program provides crisis intervention and therapeutic treatment through
the counseling process and advocacy for adult victims of domestic
violence from the initial crisis line. CAAP's objective is
to empower victims of domestic violence within the Memphis/Shelby County
area. |

CAAP
provides a 24-hour crisis line, 7 days a week, to offer crisis
counseling, services, information and referrals.
Court
Advocacy
CAAP
provides a personal and legal advocate to walk victims through the legal
process and accompany them to court.
Transportation
Transportation
is provided for needed services to the victims of domestic abuse. |
Counseling
Therapy
CAAP
provides individual and group counseling for victims of domestic
violence to assist them n dealing with the impact of abuse and
developing a safety plan.
Referrals
CAAP
provides avenues for educational, vocational rehabilitation, shelter and
employment services.

of Abused Parents)
Because
we recognize children as secondary victims of domestic violence, CAAP
provides specific therapeutic programs for Children of Abused Parents. |
